The skilled wow hunter character can track and lay traps to damage the enemy. They also have the capability to entrap the enemy’s foe. The hunters also have the power to train and tame the beasts of azeroth. As the weapon used by the hunters are not very strong then also they can fight strongly in the battle staying near their pets.

They have the capability to hit the enemy strongly from far behind. The wow hunters pet at the same time plays a vital role. The traps that are laid by the character with the helps of its pet allow it to control the crowd. As the hunters have the capability to trap, range and damage they play an important character in the game.
To get a pet the wow hunters have to use the tame beast ability.
One has to tame the beast so that it can become a companion. The power of the hunter is reduces by 100% as it tries to tame the beast for 20 seconds. If for any reason the beast looses its attention then the process of taming will fail. Once the beast is tamed it would be disloyal and unhappy. As it is unhappy the beast would need to be fed.
As the wow hunters pet becomes loyal and spend more time in fighting, the character will gain points which could be spent for the abilities of the pet.
The wow hunters also has the privilege to name its pet. This can only be done once in the entire game. The pet at the same time have rating for happiness. The rating can be seen on the icon which is present on the top corner on the left of the screen. As the hunter uses its pet the happiness decreases. As soon as the pet is fed again it is happy again.
It is important for the pet to be happy because it determines the damage output. In other words if the pet is unhappy it would be weaker and can even attach the wow hunters.
It is also important that the food for the pet is preserved. It should be kept in mind that the food of the pet should be available at all given point.
The wow hunters pet can be housed in the stables. The location of the stable is near the inn and the mailbox. Additional slots are available so that more pet are tamed.
In short the wow hunters cannot move without the pet. For the development of the hunter it is most important that the character tames its pet properly. If the pet is tamed and fed it would give the character full support.
In the game the wow hunters can have many pets.
