1. Don’t waste time running to towns or flying to cities with your major character. Simply begin a new character of a race that can reach a capital city easily enough. For Alliance this could be a dwarf for easy access to Ironforge or a night-elf for easy access to Darnassus.
2. Leave your low-level character standing near the Auction House or by a mailbox.
3. Let your main character continue questing. When you need to sell loot, simply mail it back to your lower level character.

5. Regardless of what other people are selling their items for, you know what the average sale price should be, so you’ll end up getting more gold for your loot than other people will.
